EQuest Asia is a consulting business based in Ho Chi Minh City and Sydney. We help organisations to identify, assess manage risks especially in the areas of stress, burnout, overwork, information overload, toxic or negative or low moral and motivation workplaces. We help our clients to achieve sustainable high performance from their teams.

Key offerings include Emotional Assessments: this includes the SEI Six Seconds and MHS EQi 2.0 assessments for leaders and employees, 360 multi raters, one-to-one coaching, workshops at your workplace and leadership development consulting.

We are also accredited with the Camp Quality Positive Psychology O.R.A.N.G E.S (only 7 coaches accredited to run this program in the world), the resilience AQR Mental Toughness MT48 and the Personality LDP Leading Dimensions Profile.

We also offer Happiness at Work team assessments working collaboratively with the UK-based New Economic Foundation. We address team culture change and run masterclasses in happiness, coaching and professional development consulting.

Anthony Holland

Anthony is a Director of EQuest Asia and before moving to Vietnam has more than 20 years’ experience as a management consultant in Australia, including 4 years as a Senior Manager in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Strategic Risk Services practice in Sydney.

He is an engaging and entertaining trainer and an empathetic coach. He brings a rigorous analytical approach to our consultancy assignments and his deep experience in risk management helps us to assess and address the root causes of our clients’ issues and challenges. Anthony is also a certified coach from Sydney IECL.

EQuest Asia helps busy leaders and emerging leaders hone their soft skills to enhance performance, collaboration and build a positive organisational culture. We are passionate in assisting executives in improving their systems thinking, emotional intelligence, executive presence, resilience and strategic communication skills.

We draw deeply on insights from Emotional Intelligence (EQ) in our work with our clients. Emotional Intelligence is one of the most important leadership competencies one can develop. EQ is a set of emotional and social skills that influence how you perceive and communicate with others, build and sustain relationships, deal with stress, solve problems, make wise choices, and use emotional information.

In 2019 we worked with RMIT Vietnam’s eMBA students to assess the needs for soft skills training delivery in Vietnam. This research confirmed the strong need to enhance the soft skills of graduates joining the workforce. Key findings included:

Employers and candidates considered soft skills to be critical to career development
Employers almost always assessed candidates’ soft skills
The majority of candidates were only slightly prepared to join the workforce

Our Community Involvement

My Holland, CEO at EQuest Asia, initiated the creation of VK Nữ: a professional development and discussion group for Viet Kieu Women – Overseas Vietnamese around the world.

The purpose of this group is to provide a safe platform for Vietnamese women with a VK (Việt Kiều) element (born/studied/worked overseas, with an international mindset) to access a safe space to share skills, experience, wisdom and knowledge or ask for support. The aim is to provide a space to connect and provide meaningful support and welcome constructive discussion and debate. We welcome men who work in gender equality as well of course.
