I worked alongside My Holland at SCU’s School of Tourism and Hospitality Management. At My’s request I peer reviewed her teaching and observed that My demonstrated a genuine sincerity for the students’ learning and wellbeing. She conveyed kindness and approachability. The particular unit which My was teaching when I peer reviewed her had been moved from a 3rd year unit to a 1st year unit. I believe My did an excellent job at de-constructing difficult material in order to facilitate the students’ learning.
