Letting go… a step towards happiness. How?

Some things obviously have to go – like a destructive relationship or negative thoughts. Others aren’t so easy to release like a business idea that isn’t working yet but you hope will succeed one day. How can you tell what to keep working on and what to ditch? Listen to your heart. Its quiet voice often gets lost in the chatter of our busy minds, but it knows deep down what you need. Take a step back, get quiet and still, and ask ‘Is it worth it? Is it within my control?If it’s out of your hands or the costs are too high, be brave, and let it go! A physical ritual like writing it down and burning the paper may help to solidify the process; make it real to you.  It might be painful initially but you’ll be so glad you did!
