Not just for couples! Whether you’re in a cross-cultural relationship or simply want to explore how culture shapes identity, communication, and leadership—this retreat is for you!
We have identified a need for this topic to be addressed and we would like to provide a safe space for couples to share their own experience.
It’s rather a safe space for couples to share their experience, values and expectations. We are not couple therapists but facilitators trained in cross-cultural intelligence, identity and positive psychology.
We strive for a diverse group of participants, including individuals from various nationalities, age groups, and with diverse interests. We will review all applications and notify you of your selection for the retreat.
The retreat fee includes accommodation, meals, activities, and the guidance of experienced facilitators as well as transfer from Ho Chi Minh City.
LEGO® Serious Play® is a powerful tool to help interracial couples bridge cultural gaps, improve communication, and deepen connection. By building tangible models, couples can express feelings, explore shared goals, and understand each other’s perspectives in a fun, safe, and creative way. It’s an engaging method to spark meaningful conversations and strengthen bonds.
Yes we offer early bird pricing. If you bring friends along you will both (each couple) receive a free coaching session (1 hour).
We will share with you our bank account for full transfer. A 100% transfer is required to secure your booking.
Yes we can issue a red invoice. Please note it will attract an additional 10%.
Our facilitators will run the sessions mostly in English. We can also speak Vietnamese, French and conversational Japanese.
Activities and Experiences
The retreat will include a variety of activities, such as mindfulness practices, art, nature walks, canoe, archery, SUP (depends on location) cultural experiences, and couple sharing/bonding activities.
It’s not mandatory but we encourage you to do the online assessment so you know yourself and your partner better. We will give you your own report at the week end. Individual reports are confidential and won’t be shared unless you want to.
If you are coming with another couple please let us know so you and your friend can book a free coaching session valued at $250 with our facilitators.
Please book ahead as the retreat program will be set in advance. You can book a coaching session after the retreat as well.
No. Feel free to bring your own.
Yes, there will be opportunities for couples to enjoy private time together, such as relaxing by the river or exploring the natural environment. All activities are optional, and we encourage strengths in sharing vulnerability at our facilitated sessions.

- Our sit-down mindfulness sessions are very short anyhow.
Accommodation and Food
- All couples will have their own room/ dome/ tent.
- If you are by yourself you need to consider either book the full accommodation for 2 or willing to share with another person (same gender).
Yes of course. You need to pay for 2 people’s accommodation if you are coming by yourself. Contact us for an accurate price.
Yes all rooms/domes/tents are equipped with AC.
It depends on your booked retreat: either a dome or a tent or a double room. All with AC.
Yes, meals are included in the retreat fee. If for one night: 1 dinner, 1 breakfast and one lunch. If retreat for 2 nights: 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches
Yes it’s not a strict retreat so you can bring your own food. However, the venue will provide good nutritional food as well as morning and afternoon tea/coffee.
Yes, we can accommodate most dietary restrictions. Please let us know in advance if you have any specific dietary needs.
Note all our meals are pescatarian as we adhere to the United Nations SDG no 3 Good health and well being and SDG no 13 Climate Action.
Facilitators and Expertise
My and Anthony are executive coaches.
My is French Aussie Viet Kieu, and Anthony is from New Zealand and Australia. We relocated to Vietnam in 2018 and founded EQuest Asia a boutique leadership consultancy focusing on organisational change (self leadership, emotional/ cultural/ collective/ feminine intelligence as well as cultural identities).
My is also the founder of VK Nữ, a community of professional Viet Kieu women around the world. She is also a published author as well as TEDx speaker on Feminine Intelligence and Cultural Identity in Vietnam

The retreat will be facilitated using a combination of mindfulness techniques, experiential learning with LEGO® Serious Play®, and group discussions based on positive psychology and cross-cultural intelligence.
General Cancellation Policy
General Cancellation Policy:
- Full Refund: If a retreat is cancelled by the organiser due to unforeseen circumstances, registrants will receive a full refund.
- Non-Refundable Admin Fee: A non-refundable admin fee of VND 5,000,000 will be charged to all registrants at the time of booking. This fee covers administrative costs associated with processing your registration.
Cancellation by Registrant:
- Cancellation Notice: If a registrant cancels their participation, they must provide written notice to the organizer at least 21 days prior to the retreat start date.
Refund Policy:
- Cancellation within 21 days of the retreat: A full refund will be issued, minus the non-refundable admin fee.
- Cancellation less than 21 days before the retreat: No refund will be issued, except for extenuating circumstances that are documented and approved by the organiser.
Extenuating Circumstances:
- Medical Reasons: In the case of a medical emergency, the registrant may be eligible for a full refund upon providing appropriate medical documentation.
- Force Majeure: If the retreat is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the organiser’s control (e.g. natural disasters, government restrictions), the organiser may offer a rescheduling option or a partial refund.
No-Show Policy:
- If a registrant fails to show up for the retreat without providing prior notice, no refund will be issued.
Additional Notes:
- The organiser reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time.
