Lead facilitator: My Holland is a VK (Viet Kieu) born in France. My is a certified executive coach, she studied her MA in France MA, her MBA in the US, and her neuroscience degree and emotional intelligence qualifications in Australia.

As it’s a journey with powerful and vulnerable stories, you need to participate in the 2 sessions so we can nurture trust.

Workshops:

» Session 1

~We will address cultural identity issues~

– How comfortable are you expressing your “Vietnameseness”? your Australianess or “Frenchness” or “Germaness”?… How deeply have you explored your cultural identities?

» Session 2

~We will focus on the sense of belonging and conforming with the host culture~

– How do you navigate different cultural expectations? Do you reject your “Vietnameseness”? your “Frenchness”? your “Australianess”…?

*Please note this event is open to all cultural backgrounds

*If for any reason you can’t attend the second session, you can still find a person whose cultural background matches yours. It’s best if you can attend. For your information we also run a cruise retreat especially for VK-OV in December addressing those issues, where you can connect deeper with like minded people with similar experiences.
